Friends

Just before thanksgiving I received an email from my new friend Mike Chambers who I met in my California Light Workshop class. He was my most enthusiastic and talented student. His comment moved me, “On the way to work this morning I started thinking of things I have to be thankful for and meeting you immediately came to my mind”. These gifts that life presents to us are ones that no money can buy, a genuine and beautiful friend like Mike. I’m looking forward to making many more new friends in the coming new year.

SHOOT AND BE THANKFUL

This is a time to reflect and be thankful for all the great people I have met during my workshops, lectures and travels. They are my new-found treasures.

PHOTO TIPS FOR THANKSGIVING
- Break all the rules and surprise yourself
- Forget the on-camera flash. Choose a higher ISO (800-1000)
- Use available light

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

It was a great experience teaching at the California Photo light Workshop. Great classes, students and locations. It was run very efficiently and professionally by Hal and Victoria Schmidtt and their staff, The students got a lot of unusual and interesting location shots with models. Overall, It was a wonderful experience with fantastic locations, light, models and students. Here are some photos from the workshop.
